Bioagua was founded as a private company in January 2003, by Jonas Möller Nielsen, who has a Masters degree in Horticultural sciences.
Since 2001 Jonas has worked with biotechnical water treatment and in 2003 he founded Bioagua.
22 February 2007 the company changed form to corporation to be able to accept new owners.
